Last September we completed our first major single-family home flip. We focused on enhancing the open concept floor plan by removing a wall in the kitchen and creating a consistent design throughout. The original design and interior detailing in the house were clearly created for a very specific client. There were acanthus leaves and dental crown molding sporadically placed throughout the home. Our goal was to create a design that is less ‘in your face’ and more timeless. That way it would be easier for potential buyers to envision their own unique style in the house. We did this by using natural colors and materials, from wall paint and cabinet finishes to tile selection.
